I work with our 21 schools across the Bellevue Education International group, working with teachers of children and young people from 3months - 19 years. I have also lead school improvement and development review for a group of 7 MAT schools, raising standards and developing educational practice rooted firmly in current academic research, educational thinking and innovative practice for schools. I travel extensively to all our schools and work directly with their teachers and pupils; my main role is researching and implementing innovative education development initiatives across the group that focus on constantly improving the learning experience and outcomes for all our pupils. My biggest achievement has been devising, creating and running a training program which builds capacity in schools to develop highly effective and reflective teacher practice, impacting on outcomes for pupil learning. It’s had some really exciting results and continues to evolve; coaching now forms part of Bellevue’s DNA and our teachers embrace it, seeing it as valuing their professionalism and efficacy. I am passionate about learning and the experience that each individual pupil has in every lesson in every classroom in our schools. More than that, I strongly believe that the investment in the training and learning opportunities for our teachers is what makes us a leader in our field. We are a highly reflective and forward thinking educational organisation and want all our schools to be consistently exceptional in their practice and the value they add to our pupils, families and of course our staff.
