Set priorities and assign tasks; taking into consideration project priorities, individual growth and development. Proactively collaborate with Engineering, QA and Production teams to create realistic and achievable pipelines.Consistently create, update and share key information to support project teams across disciplines via documentation, presentations, talks and updates. Build strong relationships with external partners.Create, maintain and manage internal CI/CD infrastructure (TeamCity) working closely with the overall IT department when it comes to the hardware it runs on. The pipelines needed are project dependent butspan Gen8 & Gen9 Games Consoles, Unity & Unreal Engine, Windows, Linux and macOS. Builds will need to be ran and then deployed either to storefronts or dev kits as well as an online storage archive. This alsoinvolves authoring and maintaining custom plugins and integrations to simplify working with TeamCity.Maintain and manage internal version control systems in use internally (GitLab and Perforce). Helping to create groups, projects, users, managing permissions and integrating new workflows to makeinteracting with VCS systems (e.g. Unreal Game Sync) for development teams simpler and also helping development teams add processes where required (e.g. enabling P4 Code Review).Identify how existing pipelines could be made more efficient and robust, making better use of available resources and help cut down build and deployment times where possible. Working closely with other departments to ensure any requirements for DevOps from a project are met.Experiment with adding auxiliary systems where needed to help optimise developer pipelines. Examples of extended systems at Radical Forge include but are not limited to Symbol Servers and NPM package servers (compatible with the Unity Package Manager). Work with IT to manage shared extended systems such as websites.
