I am an experienced senior civil servant with over two decades working in the public sector. I lead the UK Government\'s team transforming public procurement by simplifying regulation, placing value for money front and centre, and unleashing commercial teams to innovate in public service delivery.I have worked in a range of central government posts, including delivering policies on sustainable development, negotiating new legislation, and as head of strategic communications for the then Deputy Prime Minister, John Prescott. In 2010, I led the UK Government\'s Centre of Expertise in Sustainable Procurement before becoming the Deputy Director responsible for the UK Government\'s renegotiation of the EU Directives on public procurement. I became Director of Policy Delivery in the Crown Commercial Service in 2014 before moving to my current role in the Cabinet Office in 2018.Interested in all thing policy and public procurement.
