ABOUT SAM REDA
Sam Reda has over 45 years of experience and expertise in investment management. He previously served as Chairman of Triasima Investment Management, Vice-Chair and Executive Vice-President of Fiera Capital, President and CEO of Natcan Investment Management and Executive Vice-President of TAL Institutional Management. Since 2011, Mr. Reda has been President of Maralex Capital, a firm specializing in strategic consulting for the investment management industry. Amongst Maralex major clients is the Canso Investment Counsel Group, including PBY Capital. He is also co-founder of Alpha CCO Software. Mr. Reda has launched two major annual investment education events in Montréal: in the “Pension Fund Management Seminar (Séminaire sur la gestion des caisses de retraite)” for the International Foundation of Employee Benefit Plans, and in 2009, started an annual series on Family Offices for CFA Montreal. He continues to organize both events. Mr. Reda holds a Bachelor of Commerce degree from McGill University and is a CFA charterholder. He is also a graduate of the Directors Education Program offered by the Institute of Corporate Directors and the Rotman School of Management at the University of Toronto.
