The Disabled Veteran Outreach Program Specialist (DVOP) Case Manager and Career Employment Specialist that provides quantifiable impact through targeted assessments, career employment, intensive Case Management and specific training services to enlighten veterans to gain career employment. Create quantifiable goals for veterans to achieve success by overcoming their barriers to employment. This is facilitated through coordinated activities that target the disabled, economically or educationally disadvantaged, homeless and special needs veterans.Provide career employment with competitive wages to Veterans. Analyze and evaluate the Veteran’s work experience, education, personal characteristics, skills and abilities to provide targeted job and employment referrals that produce quantifiable impact. Refer to training when needed, including WIA, Federal, Worker Retraining, VIP and related programs. Vocational Rehabilitation and Education (VRE) enrolled veterans. Develop, provide solutions, analyze, evaluate, and make updates to Service Plans that achieved success. Collaborate with various Veteran organizations such as civil, service, vocational rehabilitation, veteran medical centers and other various organizations to assist in barrier removal for Veterans. By delivering superior employment services to disabled and special needs Veterans, the DVOP is helping them to succeed in the global economy.Mastery-level customer service skills; proven ability to build and maintain customer relations and satisfaction through outstanding customer service.
