I have worked as a teacher helping fill vacancies for short term and long term assignments. This job is incredibly rewarding. It is truly a gift to have a positive impact on our future leaders. I worked primarily in charter schools with high risk students. I have had many difficult conversations with children about everything from gun violence to understanding why their parents fight. I take the responsibility of working with children very seriously as a mandated reporter but also someone who deeply cares about protecting the youth.
