I have a particular interest in whistleblowing and disability discrimination in the health and financial services sectors. My clients include a number of large NHS Trusts who I represent at all levels.Having previously practised in the area of personal injury I am adept at using multipliers and multiplicands in the calculation of compensation.I am called to the Bar in the Turks and Caicos, where I provided legal advice and litigation services to a number of very high net worth individuals (including a global rock star, a New York property developer and a number of Swiss bankers) whilst employed as a senior associate by Misick & Stanbrook in the Commercial Litigation Department. In February 2017 I appeared in the Privy Council on a commercial appeal from the TCI Court of Appeal.I was also instructed by the SEC to recover assets hidden as a part of a several hundred million dollar Ponzi scheme. I was instructed by a Swiss industrialist on an employment matter with exposure of $20million plus. I have advised on proposed industrial action for an international resort chain. Instructed by a very high end resort chain to advise on the exit of a senior director. I successfully obtained an injunction preventing a litigant from taking steps to wind up a well known resort (part of a international chain) in the TCI.Despite representing the rich and famous, my family roots are in the union movement and I also represented, on a pro bono basis, a number of individuals in the TCI when they would have otherwise had no legal assistance (including those accused of serious criminal offences, a mother whose son was abducted by his father and employees who had been unfairly dismissed).
