The construction Industry is currently a very challenging sector of business with the adverse economic climate. Due to this the need for a tight procurement policy and structure has never been so important. My key objective from an employment perspective is to find a balance between the Operational and Commercial sections of an organization, to streamline and increase efficiency. As with all areas of business information is key. Using data on past, present and future spend trends to aid in the customization and rationalization of the supply chain to suit the business. In addition to the above it is vital to set a fair, sustainable and yet competitive procurement policy with a clear structure.On a personal note I ‘am a keen and enthusiastic individual specializing in procurement. I’m ambitious, hardworking and always looking for new challenges to provide job satisfaction and in the process achieve organization and personal goals.
