Lead the development and revision of a comprehensive PK-12 social emotional learning framework aligned with district, state & national standards, practices & initiatives & vetted by all key district stakeholders Design and support the development & articulation of a Multi-Tiered System of Supports (MTSS), including but not limited to: PBIS, CASEL and Restorative Practices systems at all schools that reflect & amplify vision of equity & inclusive practices Develop & provide technical assistance in the implementation of SEL throughout the district Partner with academic directors and other leadership team members to build an integrated approach to SEL and academics Evaluate SEL curriculum, programs, & assessment tools Provide professional development for staff on how to teach and model SEL curriculum expectations & strategies Oversee student & family-focused social/emotional services & programs Collaborate with outside agencies, community-based organizations & schools to identify & map available resources & coordinated program integration Train & assist principals in the development of site planning and accountability to meet identified District targets Collaborate with principals & other District departments on the professional development needs of each school & administrator Monitor the development & implementation of school improvement plans. Support schools with a focus on data & social emotional improvements Work with principals in establishing appropriate scheduling to emphasize SEL needs Collaborate with the Office of Data and Accountability & other district departments to select, implement and interpret SEL student assessments to inform instruction, continuous improvement & program evaluation Serve as a member of the Academic Team & Superintendent\'s Cabinet Attend & chair various meetings; represent the District in collaborative partnerships, task forces, committees, businesses, & human service agencies
