Who I am:I\'m a multimedia storyteller who finds stories in everything around us. Where I\'ve been:Currently, I am working as Editor-in-Chief of MyBellinghamNow.com, an online news source in Whatcom County, WA. In the spring of 2023, I earned a bachelor\'s degree in Visual Journalism and a minor in Leadership Studies from Western Washington University in Bellingham, Washington. Prior to moving to northwest Washington, I graduated from Moorpark College in Ventura County, California in the Spring of 2021 with an AA in Communications Studies and a certificate in Audio Production from the esteemed FTVMA program. Where I\'m going: Wherever the next best story is - sometimes across the pond and sometimes in my own backyard.

In December of 2023, I was hired by the Cascade Radio Group to launch and manage MyBellinghamNow.com, a rebrand of the established KGMI website. In this role, I manage a team of staff writers to produce hyperlocal news for the Whatcom County community. We work hard to keep our neighbors updated, connected and informed with breaking news stories that matter the most to them.MyBellinghamNow.com is unique in so many different ways, but the two that stand out to me the most are:1. It\'s free. No subscriptions or paywalls restrict you from being on our website. We have the power of five AM/FM radio stations backing us. In other words - people everywhere from north Seattle to southern British Columbia visit our website daily thanks to all of the station\'s broadcasts.
