ABOUT SAM HEWSON

I am a Senior Cyber Security & Resilience Consultant at Beyond Blue LTD, specialising in client-facing engagements across the financial services, government, and critical national infrastructure sectors. My role focuses on designing and facilitating Crisis and Cyber Management Exercises to strengthen the incident response capabilities of bronze, silver, and gold command teams. In addition, I support financial institutions—primarily in the UK—in aligning with Operational Resilience regulatory requirements. This includes conducting Scenario Testing, embedding Resilience by Design principles, and addressing identified vulnerabilities to enhance compliance and improve overall resilience.Beyond client engagements, I contribute to the development and refinement of Beyond Blue LTD’s core service offerings, ensuring they are strategically positioned, clearly defined, and effectively delivered. I am also actively pursuing professional certifications, with a particular focus on the rapidly evolving field of Artificial Intelligence. Alongside my cybersecurity career, I serve as a British Army Reservist in the Royal Signals, further developing my leadership, technical, and problem-solving skills in a dynamic environment.
