Experienced Senior Project Manager within the wind turbine industry with expertise in both Research and Development, CAPEX, EPC and Operations Projects. From contract negotiation to project completion I\'m responsible for all nonstandard offshore works across GE Vernova\'s Haliade-X and Haliade-150 fleet of turbines. Nonstandard works include - blade and nacelle replacement, entry and inspections of turbines after catastrophic events, removal of damaged components, and subsea recovery of debris. In Main Component Upgrades we are often tasked with inventing solutions as the scopes of work we typically take on do not have established methodologies.

   The Main Component Upgrade (MCU) team\'s core function is to plan & execute nonstandard offshore works across GE Vernova\'s offshore fleet of turbines. This includes scopes such as - blade & nacelle replacements, WTG decommissioning, removal of components after catastrophic events, & subsea recovery of turbine debris. Typically, these scopes of work do not have established methodologies & it\'s the MCU team\'s responsibility to create the methods, engineering & execute the operations - many of which are world firsts.Roles & Responsibilities:I\'m responsible for the overall execution of multiple complex campaigns across GE Vernova’s offshore fleet. From contract signature to scope completion I am the key point of contact for the customer and accountable for all project related activities- Primary customer contact for MCU related scopes of work- Accountable for EHS- Manage various budgets totalling in excess of $200 million per year- Manage multiple clients & stakeholders from various offshore wind farms- Manage multiple internal stakeholders from engineering to executive management- Work with customers & third-parties to create realistic execution strategies- Project Management: budgeting, planning, action trackers, risk/opportunity registers and escalation of unresolvable risks to management, etc- Negotiation of contracts - ie. vessels, harbors, manpower, unions, helicopters, blade rack fabricators, seafastening fabricators, tooling suppliers, etc- Hold project team accountable for performance & providing guidance when requirements clash with one another - ie. time vs cost vs quality vs safety MCU Achievements- Completion of the first removal of a Haliade-X turbine blade and nacelle- Pioneered ‘energetic cutting’ method & executed it on 6 blades offshore- Mobilisation of WIV from contract signature to operations in 6 months- Replacement of 54 blades in 7 months whilst navigating US shutdowns- Subsea recovery of 7 blades
