Here to perform and solve problems. When I am tasked with challenging and meaningful work, I perform better. The higher the stakes, the more reliable I can be. This is shown through roles I have taken on as lead server/bartender at Rodizio Grill and as executive recruitment chair in my fraternity. In these positions, I have found that the greater the pressure, the more relaxed and determined I am. Busy nights at the restaurant or bringing new members to the fraternity to increase revenue only inspire quality and efficiency within me. My passion for taking on challenges or coming up with solutions has steered me towards the accounting field. My abilities come to fruition in the restaurant by being expected to take more significant, more prominent sections of tables on high-volume nights. I also thrive in a leadership position tasked with direct, personable communication with strangers, peers, and people looking for guidance. Both places have boosted my communication skills and performance skills. I am interested in working in accounting services. I find the idea of being called upon to create an answer, whether solo or through collaboration, exciting.
