About Sam Goldwater
Sam is the former Executive Director of the National Fire Heritage Center. As Vice President-Business Development of KFT Fire Trainers-Kidde, Mr. Goldwater was responsible for Business Development and Marketing worldwide including offices in the USA, Germany, Hong Kong, and the UK. KFT is the largest provider of Fire Training and Joint Use Facilities in the world. Goldwater was responsible for several strategic initiatives for acquisitions and key customers.Previously Sam was Senior Vice President and Chief Operating Officer with Protection Development, Inc, where he remains a member of the Board. BAG companies deal in fire protection, fire protection engineering, fire training, project management, rail safety, or support the rail and fire industries. BAG also provides Emergency Services to Gov\'t Agencies and the Rail/Petro-chemical Industries with a special focus on Crude Oil By Rail. Sam worked with all the companies in the group. Prior, Sam was with ADS Tactical, a supplier of tactical equipment to the U.S. Military, where he headed up their Fire and Emergency Services Program including sales and operations.As Division Chief at NorthTree Fire International, Sam responded to major disasters and emergencies, including hurricanes Katrina and Rita, where he was Area IC working with the LA State Police, FEMA, and three Class I Railroads. Sam set up the first Emergency Response Contract for the Union Pacific Railroad. Goldwater was IC on many incidents including the derailment in the Feather River Canyon in CA and IC on the Tunnel 7 Fire in OR. He opened several new markets. Sam\'s career includes fire officer, IFSTA staffer, and has spanned over forty years. He has developed a track record of growing organizations, successful Incident Command and Emergency Management, as well as Business Development and Strategic Planning.
