I lead a team of 5 to manage complex supply chain activities supporting import & export trade compliance, international logistics operations across truck, air, and ocean modes including container pool cost and performance, as well as sourcing and process improvement initiatives. I am leading the organization\'s CTPAT certification process to enhance our compliance structure. I also oversee freight payment activities and ensure the billing, audit, and payment process operates timely. I am responsible for developing the international logistics annual budget and to then meet our monthly financial targets. With many external partners, carriers, 3PLs, & locations involved, problem solving is a frequent aspect to this role that I have demonstrated success to identify the concern, align on options, be decisive on the solution, and implement effectively. In this role I am driven by processes, data, and results. A strong emphasis on communication (high engagement), organization, and prioritization has helped me achieve success in my career. I have high expectations for myself, my team, and my employer. My approach is to grow and make progress each day while developing my team to be leaders in their roles.
