As Transport Shift Manager on nights managing a team including clerks & shunters to achieve daily work load to pre-determined productivity & service level targets for the worlds largest Fast foot Retailer. Ensuring full legal compliance for all Health & safety, EU & company hygiene standards alongside any employment issues.Documenting clear handovers from the shift, communicating any issues from late departures or any deliveries that will impact our On Time delivery KPI’s to any VOR assets or driver issues that will impact the productivity of the following Shift. Evaluate actual Journey durations of up to 50 routes to include a range of 200 stores, implementing improvements where necessary to utilize vehicle & drivers against Daily availability. Completing all operational data whilst on shift to ensure accuracy, forecasting driver availability through management of driver holidays/ absence, completing absence reviews in line with company Policies.Ensuring all compliance with Transport Legislation & Working time Directive legislations alongside managing labour usage to achieve budgetary spend in line with financial forecasts.
