Natural Gas Operations Technician Utility Worker @Cascade Natural Gas

Responsible for the construction, installation, and maintenance of gas distribution pipelines and associated equipment. This includes operating various equipment such as backhoes, dump trucks, and other various types of equipment. On a daily basis I play a crucial role in addressing gas-related concerns raised by customers in which I work closely with to resolve these issues, ensuring their safety and satisfaction.In times of emergencies, such as gas leaks, fires, broken gas lines, or evacuations, I promptly respond to calls and take appropriate action to mitigate the situation and make the surrounding area safe. Additionally, responsible for locating gas lines, completing turn-on and turn-off orders for customers, and adjusting gas appliances to ensure safe and efficient gas usage.Attention to detail is essential in this role, as I accurately complete all job-related paperwork and maintain precise records and reports. As wellas complete duties as requested by a supervisor or as needed to support the operations of the utility company.Lastly, I actively participate in the process of improvements and collaboratively solve problems as part of a team.
