Independent and family-owned, Power Pallet Recycling is the largest pallet manufacturer and industrial recycler in northeastern United States. Since it\'s inception in 1975, Power Pallet has worked to instill quality, safety, integrity, and character into everyday work practices. Working with distributors and manufacturers throughout the northeast, Power Pallet creates the most environmentally responsible, cost-effective solutions for customers\' material handling needs. Recognizing the need for pallet recycling, Sam started Power Pallet with his father. They were one of the first pallet recyclers in the country. Over the last 40 years, Power Pallet has grown exponentially - averaging an annual growth rate of over 830%- from 2 employees to a team of 186 employees. In the late 90\'s, Sam transformed their growing wood waste stream into a revenue stream by grinding the wood waste to sell as dyed mulch and animal bedding, forming a new division called Adirondack Mulch. Sam\'s next innovation was introducing recycling of dry recyclables within the pallet manufacturing facility. Sam took note of the large amount of cardboard and plastic waste generated by his manufacturing and distribution clients, then started offering industrial recycling services. Industrial recycling is the most rapidly growing division of Power Pallet. The newly formed division is aptly called Power Recycling. Sam attributes Power Pallet\'s on-going success to his leadership team and staff - a group of honest, dedicated, and hard working individuals.
