My name is Sam Dobrotka and I am currently working as a substation design engineer, specializing in relaying, protection, and controls. I really enjoy it and am not looking to make a change.In addition to my time in this industry, I previously spent five years as an electrical controls engineer in high voltage equipment manufacturing. Before that, I spent four years in electro-mechanical sales. All of these opportunities and positions gave me experience in collaborating with people across many disciplines including manufacturing, engineering, maintenance, sales, accounting, and customer service. In addition, I have moderate experience with PLC and ladder logic programming.I am a confident leader with exceptional communication skills who is capable of taking charge and finishing tasks on time. I am able to work efficiently and effectively in team situations, and possess an analytic and technical thinking mind that is great for problem solving and creative thinking.
