About Sam Cain

I am a process improvement professional with over 20 years of experience in private to fortune 100 companies. Through a holistic work experience and a background using many lean techniques, I use a macro approach in everything I work on. I focus on how all tasks are interrelated to assure my improvements directly contribute to the bottom line performance. I have managed many projects while working as: a manager of a packaging team in a distribution center, a Director of Process for a mortgage company, an Industrial engineer for commercial airplane as well as military rotorcraft manufacturing. I currently work as a program integrator to manage multiple projects on international military rotorcraft contracts, which I must manage the interrelationship of projects to satisfy foreign governments and US controls.I am Green Belt certified and finalizing my Black Belt certification. I am a board member of the Institute of Industrial Engineers of South Jersey/ Delaware Valley chapter, a middle school mentor for Future Cities program and a formal president of the National Society of Black Engineers Alumni of Seattle chapter.
