Sam is responsible for directing and developing the structural department to provide innovation solutions that align with project budget and client needs. He leads the overall design and structural engineering services associated with new buildings, additions, and remodels. ABOUT SAM BARGHOUT
Mr. Sam Barghout provides professional structural engineering services for the building and transportation industries. He works in a variety of markets including commercial, industrial, educational, healthcare, residential, and transportation. The different types of projects that he works on include buildings, bridges, and environmental structures. His broad range of experience includes directing and mentoring engineering staff, project management, business development, quality control, structural analysis/design, BIM, drafting, estimating, construction administration, and surveying. He has a strong background designing with all construction materials and is experienced with various types of foundation systems including continuous/spread footings, tall retaining walls, mat foundations, driven piles, micro piles, helical piers, and rammed aggregate piers. He is experienced with the traditional design-bid-build approach as well as the design/build process. Sam also spent nearly seven years in the field working for general contractors as a union commercial carpenter. His structural engineering experience coupled with the field experience has provided him with exceptional design intuition and a valuable sense of constructability that advances efficiency.
