ABOUT SAM ARMSTRONG

Over a relatively short career I\'ve been involved in many facets of the distribution industry, most of it specialising in unified communications (UC) technology. Thanks to this, I’m now the business manager for UC at Westcoast, the UK’s biggest technology supplier.My experience in the sector, from warehousing to key vendor operational and business management has given me plenty of insight into the inner workings of distribution. From supply chain management to understanding the broader commercial aspects of business, my focus is always on growth, and I take pride in making a positive impact on companies I am working for and with.Westcoast’s UC offering is looking to meet the needs of our customers and supporting them through the deployment of products, services, and solutions on behalf of the best vendors in the industry.The whole purpose of UC is to give users natural, clear conversations in every meeting space – wherever they are – in order to streamline collaboration and boost the productivity of their teams.My main aim in any aspect of work is to improve processes, to be creative, whether by devising new ways into market or improving relationships. Collaborating with great people & partners will always lead to new strategies and opportunities.Everyone is looking for what sets them apart from competitors, for what makes them valuable to customers. This is the goal of everything I do. In the past, I\'ve helped businesses to number-one spots with brands and increase growth over 100% YoY.Now, with Westcoast UC, I’m looking to do the same again.
