ABOUT SAM ANCIRA

30+ year Army Acquisition Professional. Currently providing program management and technical support to the Missile Defense Agency (MDA). I have served our great country in the United States Army for over thirty years. I\'ve served all over the world in various leadership positions. I transitioned from the Army Reserves into Active Duty after attending the University of Michigan in 1989. I served as an enlisted Soldier for six years in the Engineer and Logistics fields. In 1994, graduated from OCS at Ft. Benning and served as a Field Artillery Officer until becoming an Acquisition Officer in 2003. As an acquisition officer, I\'ve been a Command Select Product Manager and been part of major programs that have contributed to the success of the Soldier in the field to include leading programs where I was responsible for cost, schedule, and performance.Proven leadership, common sense management, clear communicator, and a wide breath of resource management.Defense Acquisition Workforce Improvement Act (DAWIA)/Army Acquisition Corps Member.
