   Returned to my roots at Charles Schwab (TD Ameritrade\'s acquirer). First, to help lead communications for the investment firm\'s functional areas and large people organizations, and for the past few years, leading executive communications, including support for the chairman and CEO. Another critical focus of my role has been to connect Schwab\'s employees with the firm\'s long-term strategy. I’ve been glad to help influence positive change based on the realities of audience engagement and channel effectiveness. That’s meant helping my own team and others in the corporate relations function be unafraid of unstuffy, write the way humans talk, and be aggressively to the point. That, and help leaders at every level be better communicators themselves.
