I was born in the prestigious Hotel Villa Sant’Andrea in Taormina, where I had the privilege of growing up until the age of 21. You could say I was \"born into the industry.\" A strict work ethic shaped my mindset and rhythm around the unique dynamics of hotel life from a very young age.I had the rare fortune of learning the craft under the guidance of professionals from a bygone era—when even the most junior roles were carried out with passion, pride, and deep respect for hierarchy. My journey began humbly: from kitchen helper to housekeeping runner, then as a trainee waiter and bartender, before finally reaching the much-coveted Front Office role by the time I graduated.Driven by ambition and determination, I landed my first managerial position as Manager on Duty at a small hotel on the Ionian coast at just 25 years old—an age that now feels both young and distant. Since then, I’ve gained extensive experience leading various properties across different categories and concepts. These diverse professional environments—both independent and chain-operated—have taught me to navigate the many facets of hotel management and refined my skills along the way.I have a natural passion for this industry in all its forms, and I’m fueled by challenges. Competition and high-performance environments awaken every part of me.Though I’ve achieved many goals and celebrated numerous milestones, I prefer to focus on what lies ahead. After all, no two days—or seasons—are ever the same in hospitality. And that’s exactly what makes it so thrilling.
