ABOUT SALVATORE DE GAETANO

Graduated in Naval and Mechanical Engineering in Genoa University. He joined CETENA in \'77 as a naval designer and then as head of experimental research and testing ships. In 1986 in Snam ( Maritime Transportation Department)as Project Manager for new building. In 1989 Head of Technical Operations and from 1991 to 1996 Fleet Manager. Numerous projects in LNG field and in the FPSO and FRSU ship segment. He was a memnber of technical committees of important Naval Classification Register. Lecturer of Mattei High School for 20 years. From 1997 to Head of Procurement for Goods at Snam and in 2001, he took over the position of Head of LNG Transportation Cooding and Procurement Services at Eni. In 2002 Head of the Foreign Transport Operation Coordination Department for the management of gas transportation on the foreign import network. Mature experience in divestment projects and transfers of business units to new companies. Coordinates the establishment of the Greenstream BV company and the investments to upgrade the transport system TAG GmbH and TTPC Ltd. He was Chairman of LNG Shipping SpA, Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Mariconsult SpA, Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Transmed SpA, Managing Director of Eni Gas & Power GmbH, Director of Transitgas AG, Scogat SA, Sergaz SA, GNL Italia SpA. In December 2006 he was Senior Vice President of Procurement at Snam Rete Gas. In 2009 he was appointed Executive Vice President Supply Chain of the Snam Group. In 2012 returns to Eni S.p.A. and assumes the position of Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of lng shipping S.p.A, of President Distrigas LNG Shipping S.A, and coordinates the development activities on naval subjects of Eni trading and shipping (ETS) S.p.A. in London. Since 2015 he is a freelancer in shipping and oil & gas sectors.
