1985, initially working as a member of oil supply division, based in Rome, supporting the \"Oils Controls Operations System\" of Eni’ domestic Refineries, as expert team coordinator. In 1987 he was appointed as Regional Manager for Milazzo & Southern Refineries, covering offshore (Nilde FPSO) and on-shore terminals interface operations controls, involving supply activities of crude oils and other imported commodities. Five years later, in 1992, following the transition of supply activities to Eni’ Refining & Marketing Division, as team leader of \"Crude Oils Operation Controls\" and tanker vessels expertise, he started to support the development of Eni\' Vetting activities, involving all types of tankers, with thousands of ship’s inspections carried out up to now.In the he was accredited SIRE Inspector for Oil, Chemicals & Gas vessels, category 1, following the inspection activity over the past years, involving also the activity of ship’s Operator management review (TMSA- Audit) and incidents investigation analysis review. Salvatore was attending as Eni representative the Port & Terminal Committee and Marine Terminals Focus Group over the last ten years.His team works with marine terminals operations and engineering experts have contribute for the creation of OCIMF important documents as MTMSA, ROCTMAE & MEG4, giving significantly assistance to Eni’ Global Marine Terminals Operators to assess the effectiveness of their management system and standards implementation.
