ABOUT SALONY MANIAR
My experience in both academia and industry (20+ years) has provided me with a high level of competence in several distinct and diverse fields of biomedical research. Highlights include biochemical and cell-based assay development for drug discovery, troubleshooting for product improvement and sustainment, elite level optical imaging, and high throughput/content screen development and application. Leading a quality control team encompassing product fulfillment, QC transfer and process improvements are part of my most recent responsibilities. This training comprising of technical understanding and management broadens the range of my technical and leadership skills. My most recent experiences have placed me in leadership roles while working in a collaborative matrix environment and developed my ability to manage multiple projects, while prioritizing and assigning resources. The ideal position would be to apply my training from years in industry and academia, in addition to learning new techniques to achieve the goal of discovering novel therapeutics or diagnostics. My depth of experience enables me to take on a leadership roles, mentor individuals, design and implement experimental and process improvement strategies from conception to application, including effective communication with stakeholders.
