ABOUT SALONI HOTA

My journey in finance began with a strong curiosity about how businesses grow, sustain, and create value; not just for shareholders, but for communities at large. As a Financial Analyst, I had the opportunity to work closely with data, turning numbers into insights that informed strategic decisions and helped drive performance. Whether it was through financial reporting, portfolio analysis, or risk management, I found purpose in using analytical tools to improve outcomes for both clients and internal teams.However, I saw a gap: even in global firms, manual processes often slow the flow of critical insights. This realisation led me to move to Germany to pursue a Global MBA, focusing on how we can bridge international financial standards with the efficiency of Finance 4.0. My dissertation examines how technology may improve reporting accuracy and remove inefficiencies in contemporary financial processes by focusing on the automation of financial procedures in Germany (HGB, DATEV, digital workflows).Now, as I pursue a Global MBA at the Berlin School of Business and Innovation, I’m expanding my understanding of international finance, leadership, and strategic management. This program is helping me think more globally, collaborate across cultures, and refine my ability to lead with purpose. My coursework is strengthening not only my technical knowledge but also my vision of how finance and business processes can be leveraged to drive innovation and long-term impact. I am specialising in Finance, Controlling, and Financial Process Automation. But my interests have never been limited to spreadsheets. I’ve always been deeply passionate about animal and children\'s welfare, and I actively support initiatives that focus on women\'s empowerment. I believe that the true value of business lies in its ability to create a positive impact socially, economically, and environmentally. At the heart of it all is my entrepreneurial spirit, a constant drive to explore new ideas, challenge norms, and build solutions that make a difference.I am driven by a strong growth mindset, an explorative approach to AI in finance, and a clear goal: to contribute to organisations that value efficiency, transparency, and sustainable business growth.
