I am an Investment Professional with over 10 years of experience in the areas of Equity Research, Industry Research, Portfolio Management and Business Development as well. I am a CFA aspirant who thoroughly enjoys the process of investing, learning about diverse businesses, writing content on Indian capital markets, investing, valuations; and of course meeting people from all walks of life. In my latest role I am a Senior Equity Research Analyst (Buy-side role) at Crisil. Being part of the GR & RS team, I am responsible for Equity Research and Valuations of diversely listed companies.Earlier, I was a Senior Equity Research Analyst at Moat Financial Services, a boutique India-focused portfolio management services (PMS) company which had a mandate to invest in listed Indian companies with a long-term investment horizon. At Moat, I worked closely with the CIO & Fund Manager providing support through Equity Research while also playing a key role in Investment Strategy & Rationale, Stock Picking, Portfolio Construction & Allocation along with scaling up the PMS business and AUM growth.I have also been a featured writer, representing the company, in leading electronic and print media such as CNBC TV18, LiveMint, MoneyControl, Finology Magazine and ThinkESG.in In the Centre for Monitoring Indian Economy (CMIE), I was part of the Industry Research team wherein I was responsible for extensive Financial Research of various major Indian industries such as Drugs & pharmaceuticals, Hotels & Restaurants, Tourism, Health Services, Tractors and other machinery.I am an eager learner, an effective communicator with strong networking skills and have been a regular contributor on leading electronic and print media covering topics in and around Investments.Specialties: Equity Research, Stock Identification & Portfolio ManagementIn my free time, I enjoy strength training, painting/doodling and making creative DIYs.
