P&C engineer working on the southern patch of SSE\'s network. Projects taken from conception to energisation. I work on projects from 11kV up to and including 132kV,Key Accountabilities:• Developing scoping documentation and Main Connections and Protection Diagrams (MC & P).• Preparing detailed designs including AC/DC schematics, AC/DC load calculations, and general arrangement drawings• Planning, design, and delivery of protection systems, performing CT & VT calculations and I/O list preparation• Preparing relay configurations, setting calculations, and protection grading studies• Specification of equipment in the design of P&C schemes such as relays, CTs, and VTs.• Customer engagement including assessment, verification, and approval of engineering design & documentation, ensuring compliance with scope, standards, and policy.• Liaise with different stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle to ensure successful delivery• Witnessing commissioning where required
