About Salma Aly
Hey there! My name is Salma (pronounced Sal-mah). My name (سلمى) comes from the Arabic word سلام (salam), meaning peace & tranquility. I was born in Egypt & immigrated to the U.S. when I was a toddler, and I’ve been living in the Greater Seattle Area ever since! I’m a first-generation student @ University of Washington majoring in Computer Science with a minor in Business Administration. I\'m skilled in various programming languages, including Java, JavaScript, Swift, SQL, C, and additional web development frameworks. Some of which were completely self-taught! I\'m passionate about the intersection of tech and business and hope to start my own company some day! My LinkedIn content has over impressions so far! In my free time, I enjoy binging TV, coding, drawing, reading, and dabbling in creative writing.
