In this role, I was successful in defining the department (Corporate Security, HR, Ethics Special Handling, Legal) that would be in charge of handling each type of ethics issue (sexual harassment with/without contact, theft, workplace violence, discrimination, harassment, and retaliation). I conducted a 30-day follow-up with the case reporter to guarantee there have been no incidents of retaliation. I oriented and instructed externally-hired peers on several systems, central investigative team procedures, and company policies. Furthermore, I managed a caseload of more than 16 ethics-related matters at once while conducting a thorough investigation on each one.My other duties and accomplishments include: Performed prompt and exhaustive examinations of different complaints involving company policy and code of business conduct. Launched and oversaw the whole investigative process, which included the initial alignment call with Legal and HR, evidence gathering, interviewing witnesses, compiling findings into a report, and concluding calls with the reporter and the subject. Developed the investigative process portion of the manual for the newly formed central investigations team and distributed it to HR and Legal. Presented final inquiry report and suggestions for corrective action to HR and Legal while consistently applying policies and procedures. Generated reports on a variety of parameters, including categories of cases submitted, closing time, location, and case outcome accurately. Initiated and organized monthly staff meetings, team volunteer activities, and employee engagement efforts. Exemplified the ability to work through situations characterized by ambiguity and complexity with care, precision, and attention to detail.
