About Salma Ali
When I was ten years old, I was selected as one of eleven runners-up for a Captain Underpants drawing contest. This minor win instilled in me a desire to be the best at everything I do. I come to win at everything in my life. Failures are just a building block to success and with each challenge, I grow. My greatest enjoyment comes from setting up minor goals to reach a bigger goal. As a child, I was disappointed when I found out I couldn\'t be president of the United States because I wanted to make a change. To build a better future for all of us––therefore, president was too small a goal. I strive on the journey of my life to contribute positively to the world around me and provide a service that has a positive impact socially and equally so, environmentally.
