ABOUT SALLY YIALLOUROS

I am the Corporate Responsibility (CR) Lead for EY in the UK, working across both our UKI and Financial Services practice. I am responsible for our CR agenda which includes fundraising and volunteering. This aligns to our Global Corporate Responsibility programme, EY Ripples, and its ambition to positively impact the lives of 1 billion individuals by 2030. This bold ambition provides focus to the many volunteering opportunities that I manage for our EY people here in the UK. Our social value is an important driver to my career and provides purpose to my everyday work. My Journey: Through the early stages of my EY career I transitioned from client facing roles within Process & Controls to Quantitative Advisory Services so the skills I have gained span from Internal Audit to Derivative Pricing. As a Senior Consultant I seconded internally as the EMEIA FS Advisory Graduate Network Change Manager, working across EMEIA to strengthen and align the graduate communities, before officially transferring internally in August 2016 as a Manager. The Early Careers world is an area I am deeply passionate for as I previously worked my way through one of the programmes myself and care a great deal for the learning and development opportunities of employees at the start of their career. Between 2016 & 2021 I held the role of Operations Manager for the Early Careers Team within Financial Services (FS) Consulting at EY. The Early Careers Team is responsible for the Graduate Consulting Programme, Industrial Placement, Summer Internship Programme & Apprentices within our Consulting practice. My responsibilities included looking after the BAU of our programmes, managing on-boarding and strengthening our communities. Qualifications: First Class Honours in Accounting and Finance from London Metropolitan University ACCA Fellow (FCCA) Certificate of completion of Major Event Management course from City University, London Career Ambitions: My ideal career venture would be to bring together my worlds of corporate responsibility, early talent development & my love of event management into the perfect hybrid role. My CR work is incredibly rewarding and I look to continue to build this out for EY.
