Sally started her legal career at Tollers as a Trainee solicitor in September 1992. She then qualified as an Assistant Solicitor in the Family Department in September 1994. In her early years, the firm did a lot of legally aided work, where she learned the art of assimilating a lot of information quickly, cutting through to the key issues of a matter and balancing time in the office, with a lot of court commitments. It was a fantastic learning ground.In 2001 Sally became a salaried partner and in 2002 she joined the equity partnership. Sally became an accredited Family Law mediator on 2001 and since that time has assisted hundreds of couples in resolving their family issues in the mediation setting. In 2005, the firm ceased undertaking legally aided work and since that time, Sally has looked after privately paying clients, tailoring her specialist advice to their specific needs and circumstances.Sally has held a variety of posts within the Firm: she sat on the Firm\'s Management Board for over 10 years and was Office Managing Partner for the Milton Keynes office for 4 years and Managing Partner for 2 years.Sally retired from the equity partnership in March 2025 and now continues to work with Tollers on a part time, consultancy basis, dealing with family mediation matters. Sally is passionate about assisting couples reach a resolution about their family law issues, outside of the contested court arena.
