ABOUT SALLY STRINGER
Accomplished Managing Director and business leader, who loves to develop teams, with a foundation in science and communications. In my latest role, I am proud to be growing the commercial arm of Same but Different Creative, an innovative visual storytelling business, who leverage the power of emotive photography and cinematography to evoke change, especially for disadvantaged groups. Whilst this develops further I am open to consulting, as well as freelance, temporary and parttime roles. I originally honed my skills as a medical communications writer, strategist and leader, with a key role in the successful growth of HealthCare21 Medical Communications. Post-acquisition, as MD, I navigated cultural preservation, profound business expansion and change management, as we integrated into Lucid. Building on this expertise in organizational integration, I led the merger of medical communications businesses at Bioscript. With a foundation of two decades of cancer, cardiovascular, and rare disease research, across three continents, my leadership skills emerged through cultivating a successful research group at the University of Manchester, where I am still an Honorary Senior Lecturer. My fifteen-year journey into healthcare communications was fuelled by a passion for sharing scientific and medical knowledge, with a variety of audiences, today through the powerful and memorable medium of storytelling.
