I am very passionate about acting in theory, the history, the craft and authenticity encompassed in the work of an actor. Every student is different we are individuals - we come to the character with our own personal history to navigate through and find truth. We must discover the truth of the character in these stories through exploration using a technique that pushes and inspires the actor to dig deep. I supports and encourages my students to delve in and explore the nooks and crannies of character and story while providing a safe place to create for the artist.I encourages and inspire my students to approach acting and script like a detective at a crime scene. Making it a fun and interesting adventure, at the same time always holding on to my philosophy of truth, authenticity and technique. Sally is a member of AEA and SAG-Aftra and has been in the profession for over 20 years.She’s trained extensively with:*Susan Batson (Black Nexxus), 2 - 3 Handman Flannigan Esper (Esper Studio) The Meisner technique 2 years http://esperstudio.com/*Lee Strassberg Institute 2 years and classical theater with Robert Neff Williams from Julliard for 2 years with Loyd Williamson 1 year*LCI She is also a trained teaching artist through Lincoln Center Institute include SaCha Coleman - Tony award winning “Fences” by August Wilson Starring Denzel Washington and Viola Davis. Travaris Spears “Admissions” starring Tina Fey and Paul Rudd, and “Something Whispered” with Cuba Gooding Jr (post production).

Actors are called upon to tell stories, to bring words on the page to life as truthfully as we can. At The Total Actor workshops, working actors like myself prepare and train you to tell those stories by teaching classic and timeless fundamentals from masters like Stanislavski, Sandy Meisner and Lee Strasberg in a safe, fun, supportive and creative environment not leaving out the professionalism that\'s required in pursuing a career in the industry. We incorporate both technique and preparation for casting directors, agents and anything and everything industry related. why? Because we are working actors teaching actors how to GET WORK!
