ABOUT SALLY MARTIN

Proud to be working in charity fundraising for Samaritans with a passion for community engagement, marketing, administration and networking. I have worked in a variety of industries from public relations and television to senior administration in senior living care - adding Disney Land Paris scenic painter and Barcelona waiter to the mix!In the last few years, I have changed direction now working in the charity sector, collaborating with local charities, community interest companies and organisations. Since 2017, I have been a proud volunteer for Samaritans of Bournemouth and District. Volunteering with Samaritans has led me to now working professionally for Samaritans as the Branch Fundraising Support Officer. All Samaritan branches relies fully on donations and it\'s an honour to assist branches to remain open for volunteers to take calls and emails from people who are struggling emotionally. Personally, in 2023, I completed a Level 4 (Foundation Degree Level) in Professional Marketing with the Chartered Institute of Marketing, focussing on customer insights and applying campaigns. I am also a member of Dorset Public Engagement Group.
