As a communications professional for more than twenty years, I\'ve turned my storytelling work on its ear, changing my focus to telling the story of homes and taking my marketing skills and focusing them on my own business. While my primary passion is the Mid Century Modern genre, I work with interior design and staging clients across all forms of modern. In my past life, I was a public relations strategist, planner and writer with experience in building teams and programs, evaluating and hiring PR agencies, developing and implementing strategic communications plans, conducting positioning strategy projects for clients in various stages of their lifecycle, and conducting media and messaging training workshops.

Services include staging (Seattle area only), interior design (concept to procurement), and relevant project management.We work primarily in the mid-century modern genre, but can integrate a variety of modern ideals into a cohesive design, since the essence of a modern design remains constant throughout the decades.The pioneers of the modern movement stripped away excess, unnecessary adornments to highlight the simple beauty of a well-designed object. Modernous exists to pay homage to the birth of this movement in the middle of the 20th century, by creating timeless spaces that feature the best of modern design.
