The seed for Info#tex was sown during my twenty years working in the backroom of our textile agency, The Mike Enderby Textile Company. The lessons I learned, the records I kept, and the archive I created during that time provided ideal conditions for germination. When my husband, Mike, passed away from pancreatic cancer, I decided to transform the company into an innovative, unique, subscription-based resource for anyone working in – or aspiring to join - the UK clothing industry. Its aim is to help people in the UK textiles and clothing industry overcome many of the issues that Mike and I faced as an agency; the most critical being that whilst agencies are quite different from normal business, our experiences were mirrored across the industry.
