Pgd Wind Reliability Engineer @NextEra Energy Resources

I support NextEra Energy wind sites throughout the Texoma Region of South Kansas, Oklahoma, and the Texas Panhandle. The sites I support generate 4,880 MW across 2,290 turbines. I am part of a dynamic, multifaceted team that ensures any known or potential issues are identified and remediated, as well as identifying any new or emerging issues for the wind turbines in my region. I identify areas of lost revenue for my sites and develop and implement projects to stop those losses in a cost-effective and efficient manner. I am a champion of lean six-sigma quality improvement and mentor technicians through their quality journey by training them how to utilize quality tools and principles to resolve technical issues that may arise during operation. I guide them through completing quality improvement projects related to reducing lost revenue, trip reduction, and safety improvements that can have lasting impacts on the organization results.
