ABOUT SAM ALLCOCK
I’m a product leader specialising in building platforms and experiences that scale across millions of users. My approach is grounded in a simple belief: products succeed when they make people’s lives measurably better. Whether I’m defining multi-year platform strategy or shaping a feature used daily, my focus is always on end-user experience, clarity of outcomes and data-driven decision-making.My path into product was unconventional. I originally studied aerospace engineering with pilot studies, driven by a fascination with systems, innovation and the elegant interplay of people and technology. After joining a startup and working across QA, project management, design and product ownership, I discovered the craft of product management and never looked back. It offered the pace, impact and creativity I’d been searching for.Today, I lead large product organisations spanning platform, mobile, identity, ecommerce and end-user experience. I’ve delivered strategies and products used by millions of devices worldwide, driven measurable improvements in retention, ARR and LTV to CAC, and built new revenue streams through platform expansion and cross-portfolio alignment. My leadership style blends clarity of vision with collaborative execution. I work closely with teams to distil complex problem spaces into actionable strategy, empower product managers and product owners to make high-quality decisions, and create operating models that scale. I’m especially passionate about the intersection of product, analytics and customer experience, and I’ve built and taught internal programmes to elevate data literacy and outcome-driven product thinking.Outside of work, I’m often in the air flying or gliding, underwater scuba diving, or exploring somewhere new with a ukulele in hand. I bring the same curiosity and sense of exploration to my work as I do to my hobbies. If you’re building ambitious products, scaling a platform or evolving a product organisation, I’d love to connect.
