Psychology-backed UX for intuitive, meaningful digital experiences. Hi, I’m Salina Xu, a UX designer with a foundation in psychology and a background in healthcare. I specialize in transforming complex systems into clear, user-friendly interfaces through research, strategy, and design thinking. My experience in high-stakes environments taught me the value of usability, accessibility, and empathy, especially when users are under stress or navigating sensitive information. I focus on using behavioral insights and user research to inform every design decision. I’m especially drawn to projects that combine accessibility, technology, and user empowerment to create digital experiences that reduce friction and make a meaningful impact in people’s lives. One recent project I worked on was AuraHealth, a mobile app designed to help patients manage medical records, set medication reminders, and access wellness content in one place. I conducted user research, defined information architecture using card sorting, prototyped flows, and tested usability with real users. The outcome was a centralized solution that improved access and user confidence in managing personal health data.
