ABOUT SALIMA MÉKAHLI

Salima Mékahli has always drawn, it is in her DNA. Between the ages of 15 and 17, she was able to participate in the realization of several frescoes, notably the one in the arrivals hall of the SNCF train station in Le Mans. She studied at the Applied Arts of Paris (Olivier de Serres ENSAAMA), then worked for ten years in the textile industry. A very rich period where she had the chance to work for the world of luxury with renowned French brands such as Christian Dior. There she acquired pride in a job well done, excellence in the execution, a strong discipline phylosophy, and an understanding of sharp customer expectations. In the with an ever dynamic and curious mind for new graphic innovations and the infinite possibilities offered by the digitalization of this activity, she branched out into the internet to become a webdesigner at first and then quickly Artistic Director. She has successfully managed and carried out numerous projects for various environments such as print, web, mobile, and ePaper. She also participated in projects using Motion Design, notably for the realization of educational cartoons for major accounts such as Société Générale. It is a medium she is particularly fond of. Each of the missions she has been entrusted with has allowed her to acquire new skills and to perfect those already acquired in the fields of graphic design, video, interface ergonomics and transversal project management involving multidisciplinary teams. Since 2015, she has started a parallel activity as a painter because she is convinced that in order to progress, to keep a lively, dynamic and creative mind and above all not to fall asleep on her achievements, she must regularly launch new professional and stimulating challenges.
