Salima Etoka is the Chief of Staff at the Center for NYC Neighborhoods, where she serves as a key thought partner and trusted adviser to the CEO/Executive Director. As a member of the Executive team, she sits at the intersection of programs and operations, participates in organizational decision-making, and is central to operationalizing organizational decisions. Before the Center, Salima served as an Urban Fellow at the NYC Human Resources Administration. She holds a Master’s in Public Policy from the Harvard Kennedy School of Government and a B.A. from Trinity College, where she received a Truman Scholarship.Salima volunteers with Malaika, a non-profit organization that empowers girls and their communities through education and health programs in the Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC).
