Design and implement high availability solutions for databases with multi-node database clusters, Database replication, database mirroring, Always-on and log shipping • Develop Scripts for DDL and DML, ad hoc reports, task automation, troubleshooting. • Managing ETL tasks and work on architecting SQL Server Database Environment • SQL Server Installation, service pack upgrade, etc. of multiple RDBMS • Work closely with development teams to architect solutions for long term scalability of database Environments • SQL Server Performance tuning and database parameter tuning to correct issues • Performance Management - hardware, instance and query • Document standards and best practices for all aspects of DB Server • Design and implement security standards and best practices • Backup and Recovery of SQL Server Databases • Disaster recovery planning and Management of Databases • Using and implementing Information Technology Infrastructure Library (ITIL) processes such as Incident Management, Service Request Management, Change Management, Release Management, Problem Management, and Knowledge Management in the project. • Work on tools like MS SQL Profiler, Index tuning wizard, windows performance for monitoring and tuning SQL Server performance. • Installation and management of SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS) and SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS). • Maintaining and migration to Microsoft Azure SQL Server environment Environment - Microsoft Azure SQL Servers, MS SQL Server 2016/2014/2012,2008 R2, Always On, Columnstore Databases,DDboost Backups,Foglight Monitoring,Storage level snapshot replication
