I have extensive experience as a Senior SQL Server/Cloud DBA having managed data estates for multiple clients, both on-premises and in the public Cloud (AWS/Azure). My expertise includes handling critical aspects such as High Availability, Disaster Recovery, Performance Tuning, Database architecture, upgrades, Hardware planning, and licensing. I have successfully managed databases ranging from a few GB to thousands of TB, with the largest being 800TB. These databases required high throughput and low latency to meet the client’s needs.In addition, I have worked as a hands-on operational DBA for cloud databases such as AWS Redshift, Azure SQL DB, AWS Aurora MySQL/Postgres, and Cosmos DB.I have also been involved in multiple modernization efforts, which require refreshing the OS, Storage, and Product versions.
