Growing up, I was always fascinated with technology. You could find me at the age of 5 in my bedroom tearing apart the family computer just to see all of the parts that went into it. I was always intrigued by the way things worked. It was like trying to understand the inner workings of a large puzzle. My previous jobs in retail and music education of 5 years taught me a lot, particularly how to communicate information in a way that’s both educational and digestible to the average listener. However, there was rarely a time where a difficult problem needed to be solved in a creative manner. I’ve since been working at the Columbus Zoo & Aquarium as an Audio Visual Technician. This has fulfilled my desire to work with technology but is not quite as fulfilling in terms of problem solving and creative thinking. This is why I chose software development.With the skills I\'ve acquired from Tech Elevator, I\'m eager for the opportunity to engage in a job that presents daily challenges, requiring me to tackle problems both creatively and effectively.I am an enthusiastic and dedicated leader who is constantly seeking to understand the intricacies of what, why, and how things work. My objective is to establish an environment that fosters high employee morale while prioritizing safety and compliance. I have the ability to create a welcoming atmosphere while effectively guiding and motivating employees to successfully accomplish demanding and crucial tasks. I am always prepared to undertake any necessary assignment in order to ensure the prosperity of the company. As a meticulous worker, I find value in paying attention to the smallest details. When devising innovative solutions, I always prioritize efficiency and effectiveness.Currently enrolled in a full-stack Java coding bootcamp and hold an Associate of Arts degree in General Studies. Seeking role as Front End/Full Stack Software Engineer.
