With nearly 20 years of experience as a \"Business Development Leader,\" I’m driven and passionate about sales in the niche markets within the Canadian healthcare industry. As a leader and connector, my strength lies in creating win-win scenarios for those I collaborate with and leveraging my business acumen to innovate.High performance, entrepreneurial spirit, growth and strategy are embedded within my DNA. I’m propelled by one goal: to create an impact by building relationships with health professionals to change the lives of patients worldwide.After completing my Bachelor’s Degree in Nutrition Sciences, my career began as a Registered Dietitian in one of Quebec’s largest and most prominent acute-care university teaching hospitals. I led multi-disciplinary teams under the common goal of transforming patient nutrition programs. My interpersonal and sales skills coupled with the drive to make a quantifiable difference, allowed me to build rapport with healthcare specialists and eventually led to a career in specialty sales and territory management.Taking a step back, I’ve come to realize that I’ve always been attracted to the world of health ever since an early age. I had witnessed my brother fall ill frequently and I was incapable of helping him. Now, through the work that I do, I’m thankful to be able to directly enhance the lives of patients around the country. During my nearly 15-year tenure with Nutricia North America (Danone), one of the global leaders in the medical food industry, I was entrusted with a multitude of responsibilities. Whether it was sales and business planning, KOL development or Speaker Programs, I had the opportunity to bring impact which earned me several sales achievement & recognition awards.Above all, I thrive when I share my best practices during coaching sessions, mentoring and training. Listening, empathy and truly caring aren\'t just “soft skills”; they\'re an integral part of how I approach building relationships and orchestrating change. Leading has also taught me how to remain permanently curious as a leader and while I empowered others to achieve greatness, it was reciprocal. Today, some of my greatest achievements include contributing to publications and books on nutrition as well as spearheading the North American division’s first virtual product launch and campaign. Additionally, I helped develop a market access program for a rare disease category that was ground-breaking. Above all, my biggest achievement will always remain, bettering the lives of my patients.
